There’s a feature in the app – ‘Microsoft Print to PDF’ that allows you to Print to PDF natively. The .pdf file created by Microsoft Print to PDF can be opened by any app that supports this format like, FoxIt Reader, Adobe Reader, Picasa, and others. However, by default, Windows 10 opens any file with PDF format with Microsoft Edge.

Convert Image files to PDF in Windows 10

As mentioned, if you have Windows 10 installed on your system, you can easily convert any image file into PDF format without having to install any third-party software. To do so,

Launch File Explorer and browse to the location of the folder featuring all of your image files that you would want to convert to PDF.

Next, Double-click the image file to open it with the default Windows Photos app, Windows Photo Viewer, etc, that you have set as default.

Now, press Ctrl+P keys simultaneously to open the Print dialog. Note that if you do not see the dialog, navigate to the Windows 10 Settings page and choose Devices. The ensuing window will automatically display ‘Printers & scanners’ menu. Select Microsoft Print to PDF as your printer.

When done, hit the Print button. This action will open Save Print Output As dialog.

Finally, enter a suitable name for your newly created PDF file and then click Save button. Also, if you would like to configure other settings such as size of the image, quality, etc. you can make the changes.
